Torchon is often the lace we begin lacemaking with.  As a result it is often considered to be inferior to other lace types. Jan will lead students through the techniques of Torchon lacemaking and show just how beautiful this lace can be.

Join Jan on an exploration of the intricacies of this much maligned lace and see how the same pattern can be made to give varying results by the careful choice of stitches.
