Over the years we have gradually extended the range of products from the original small selection of decorated bobbins to include other supplies such as lace design patterns, threads and craft wires, beads and a selection of jewellery finishing kits.

Thread & Wire

We stock a range of specially selected threads, in cotton, metallic and silk, that are particularly suited to the wide range of lace designs that we have on offer.  Also available is enamelled and plated wire that is particularly suited to making lace designs.  It is only supplied as 0.2mm diameter wire, but, available in a range of colours and is supplied on small reels containing approximately 10 grams (30 metres) of wire

Patterns

Our range of patterns covers many types of lace from traditional English laces such as Torchon, Bucks and Beds through to some of the continental, such as Bayeux, Cluny,  Bruges, Milanese, and Russian Braid etc.  As well as the extensive range of patterns designed by Jan, we also stock a small collection of designs by Sheila Brown, continental designs by French lacemaker, Florence Quinette and specialist wire lace designs by Diane Stevens of the USA.

Bobbins

The product that started the whole thing, which now consists of some sixteen ranges of decorated bobbins in white and ebony woods as well as bone, covering such subjects as birds, animals, flowers and butterflies as well as our unique range of fantasy bobbins including Dragons, Mythical Beasts and rounding off with a range of motto and domestic cat bobbins.  We have since added a range of polished wood bobbins in different coloured woods and wood dyes as well as specialist bobbins for making wire lace.

Beads & Findings

And to complement these products we have also developed a select range of finishing kits for the jewellery patterns, that are available in both Gold and Silver plated finishes and at very competitive prices.
