Due to popular demand Jan has agreed to take three weekend workshops this year.
The Dates for 2012 are 3-5 February, 20-22 July and 27-29 July Bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis from January 2012. BOOKINGS NOW BEING TAKEN Jan Gardiner will be the tutor for these weekend workshops. All levels of lacemaking skills will be accommodated, from complete beginners to advanced. If you have bought any of Jan's patterns and would like to have her help in starting/finishing them this is golden opportunity not to be missed. Lacewing Designs stock will be on display for you to browse during the weekend. This weekend course will be held in the Porton Village Hall and residential students will be accommodated at the Porton Hotel. Welcome and Registration will take place at the Porton Hotel at 5:30pm. The non-residential fee will include all tuition, lunch on Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Friday and Saturday. The residential fee will include Bed and Breakfast, all tuition, lunch on Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Friday and Saturday. Tea and coffee will be available through out the weekend at the Village Hall. There was no 'outing' as such in 2011 but transport was arranged for students to go the the Cathedral Close in Salisbury where they visited the Cathedral, the Salisbury Museum and Arundels. Something similar will be arranged for 2012.
