This series of three workshops will de-mystify the process of designing for bobbin lace.

In the first session students will be guided through the process of using an existing pattern to form the basis of a new design.

Session 2 will enable students to take the typical features of a particular lace and by rearranging them in a pleasing combination, design a completely new pattern.

The third session will build on the skills acquired in the first and second workshops to further expand the students ability to produce new and original designs for bobbins lace.
