Bucks point, or to give the lace it's full title, Buckinghamshire Point Ground Lace.  This lace originates from the East Midlands area of Britain and was made commercially in great quantities in the past.

Jan offers a series of three Day Schools to cover the majority of the techniques used in the making of this beautiful lace.

The first in the series will take the student through the techniques needed to make geometric Bucks.

In the second session the students will be introduced to simple floral designs. To complete the trilogy, the third session will explore the intricacies of more complex floral designs.

However, each Day School is complete in itself so can be used as a single workshop for each level of ability.

Jan has patterns available to accommodate all levels of skill.
