Bayeux Lace originates, as it's name suggests, from Normandy, France.  It is a beautiful lace that is worked in very fine thread.  Jan has spent the last few years visiting Mm F Quinette at her studio just outside Bayeux where Jan has learned the intricacies of this wonderful lace.

 

In a workshop with Jan she will show you the similarities and differences of Bayeux lace to our own Bucks Point while you make a delicate piece of lace.
