Honiton lace is the famous lace that originated from the Devon and East Somerset areas of Great Britain.  It is a lace of motifs and is most often seen applied to net.

Jan has some considerable experience in this lace and has developed a pair of Day Schools to enable students to grasp the majority of the techniques required to make this beautiful lace in a traditional fashion.

Jan has also successfully used the regular Honiton techniques to produce exciting contemporary work in coloured and metallic threads.

Jan has patterns available to accommodate all levels of skill.
