Lacewing Designs provides a range of products and information for the
lace maker. These include beautifully
hand painted bobbins in wood and bone .
The designs for these hand painted bobbins for lace making come from nature and the
imagination. Cats, Birds, Flowers, Butterflies plus many other designs are hand
painted bobbins Midland style, on wood or bone, or Honiton style, on wood only. Dragons on
ebony or bone bobbins are our speciality.
Every hand painted bobbin in Midland style come ready to use with a matching spangle using
beautiful fire polished cut class beads
We have a Bobbin a Month Club
membership of which enables you to collect our beautiful hand painted bobbins.
Each month you will receive your selected bobbins shortly after the10th of the month.
Lacewing Designs stock a large range of bobbin lace making
patterns. The majority of these patterns come
complete with pricking and thread diagram. We stock bobbin lace patterns from
American, French and British designers who offer bobbin lace patterns in many different lace types using traditional and/or contemporary
materials.
We also supply beautiful and unusual thread and
very fine, gorgeous enamelled copper wire for bobbin lace making.

Findings that you may well need should you choose to make any of our
fabulous Jewellery designs to finish off the work
correctly.
